Akara/beans waffle

Fit fam friendly,nutrition packed and can be paired with anything you so want.


  1. Peel,wash and soak beans overnight
  2. In the morning,blend beans with onions,red bell pepper and cayenne pepper.
  3. I added eggs to mine but it's optional
  4. Season and adjust for taste
  5. Add about 3tablespoon of vegetable or any oil of choice to prevent sticking to the waffle iron.
  6. Whisk thoroughly or use a mixer if available
  7. Plug the waffle iron and make sure it's hot before pouring batter.
