Traditional palm oil rice

Palm oil is a healthier option compared to vegetable oil.it gives the rice a lip smacking flavour that you would definitely love.

  1. Soak crayfish ans stockfish in hot water
  2. Chop onions and set aside
  3. Wash locust beans and set aside too.
  4. In a pot,add palm oil and allow to melt.Add onions and locust bean.
  5. Allow to fry for a while,add the roughly blended puree.
  6. Add stock water(broth) or water.
  7. Season and allow to boil.
  8. Add rice,check for softness.As soon as rice is almost done,add stockfish and crayfish.
  9. Garnish with vegetable of choice and pour smoked fish.
  10. Allow to simmer on low heat.
  11. Serve and enjoy
